THE LEF7OVERS: UNLEASHING FEMINIST FURY THROUGH RIOT GIRL POWER

Get ready to be electrified by The Lef7overs, a Montreal-based powerhouse of all-female energy, fusing Riot Grrrl rebellion with the force of punk and grunge. Hailing from the vibrant music scene of Montreal, Quebec, this quintet is more than just a band – they're a sonic revolution.

Influenced by the Riot Grrrl movement and seasoned with a mix of punk, metal, and grunge, The Lef7overs deliver a fierce sound that's as diverse as the musical tastes of its five members. Their lyrics navigate the spectrum of life experiences as women and speak out against problematic male-dominated narratives. When life throws punches, The Lef7overs throw back - with a scream!

Formed in 2016 as an L7 cover band, The Lef7overs quickly outgrew the confines of imitation. In 2018, they boldly shed the covers, honing their distinctive sound. Fast forward to 2019, and the band was riding high after crushing performances at Pouzza Fest and The Bovine in Toronto. Drummer extraordinaire, Liane, joined in 2020, bringing an unparalleled ferocity to the rhythm section.

2022: THE YEAR OF "MERCURY RETROGRADE"

In the midst of the global pandemic in 2020, The Lef7overs persisted, relentlessly crafting their debut album, "Mercury Retrograde," released in 2022. The album not only showcased their musical prowess but also marked a significant expansion of their fan base, leading to performances at larger venues and festivals beyond Montreal.

2024 heralds a new chapter for The Lef7overs with the arrival of bass powerhouse, Mape. Adding a punchier and heavier dimension to their already formidable sound, Mape ensures that The Lef7overs are ready to conquer bigger stages and festivals across Canada.

Armed with a renewed lineup and a ferocious determination, The Lef7overs are assured to take their music beyond Canadian borders. Their sights are set on conquering stages worldwide, spreading their feminist viewpoints, modern-day struggles, and unapologetic attitude to a global audience.
